The room was pretty pricey however they did accommodate us. The breakfast was good and the area had everything we needed.
The breakfast lady Lisa is the absolute coolest person ever. She treats everyone like family, is always cheerful, always suggests places to visit to her guests. I looked forward every morning to seeing her smiling and bubbly. She has total respect for everyone and the breakfast is always cooked so flavorful and with love. I love it here. She represents Indiana well. She really deserves a raise for her hard work everyday. Of course all the other staff are super friendly too. But the breakfast lady is my favorite. I love the fire pit and the housekeeping is great too. However there is a bit of a language barrier there. Most speak Spanish and have a hard time understanding English I would suggest offering free English classes to all of staff who speak Spanish to improve communication with guests. It beats having a translator on your phone to ask for more towels. Other than that this place is great and I really felt welcome. It’s very homey and makes you want to stay longer.

Our stay was for several days. The design of the Residence Inn made it very easy to come and go, make your own meals, sleep well and enjoy our stay. The location was ok but the access from the road was a little dicey - I'd advise not taking the entrance that is given on Google Maps but go a few hundred feet further - it'll be safer and not hidden at night like it was for us. The rooms were ultra-clean. The maintenance of the motel was above average. The breakfast was great. The employees were very cordial and polite. The location is near most of Fort Wayne's businesses. We'll return again and select this motel. The price was outstanding... though off-season, one doesn't find this nice of a motel for $114.00/night!
My husband stays here for work and it's pretty great. Breakfast is good. Something different everyday. Room service is good. Most guests are long term and are all pretty friendly. The water smells a little funny but that could just be the city.
I stay at this property every year for Thanksgiving. The ENTIRE staff is always warm and accommodating. This time, my room had an issue. I ended up switching rooms 3 times. The front desk agent was pleasant through the whole ordeal and finally got the television working in one of the rooms. I considered staying at the newer Springhill Suites, but I always have such a great experience at this property...why try to fix something that isn't broken.
While this hotel is definitely due for a refresh, the rooms are very spacious and the staff, especially the breakfast staff, deserve credit. A comfort and quiet location near many amenities, this should certainly be considered.
It was a great place to stay, rooms were spacious and perfect for visiting for a hockey tournament.
